bonanza mini buggy info

has anyone ever heard of a bonanza mini buggy? made in the late 60's to early 70's, by Bonanaza Industries in California. i have a body but cant seem to find any web sites that have any info on them. any help or links to a web site that helps would be greatly appreciated.

That era was the initial heyday of such vehicles and early"ATVs".Literally hundreds of mfgs,both large and small sprung up all over the country,some becoming famous and others going under quickly.Part of the problem was distribution,with many makes only ever being sold"locally or regionally".Another major problem was flagrant copying of designs and patented designs by other mfgs.A few companies like Cushman,Rupp,Pug,Heald etc became known,but dozens and dozens of companies went under after only producing a very low number ofr units/kits.I remember seeing pic and references to the "Bonanza buggy" at the time and have seen a couple buggies and parts for sale on Ebay in past.If I recall right it was somewhat similar to a Rupp unit made in same era.Chassis would have been basically an off road go-cart.Site link below if geared mainly toward 6-8 wheel ATVs,However there is a lot of reference material there for the whole early ATV sport..may have references to Bonanza or similar..will take some browsing as site is large..Good luck.If nothing else it will give you an idea of what engines/drivelines etc were being used in that era.

Hi chevyguy65. I just found this website and your question about the Bonanza Minibuggy. I have ALL original factory brochures/catalogs on the Bonanza Minibuggy and many "feature length" articles and ads from dune buggy magazines on the Bonanza Minibuggy.
