going to buy a 2002 toro wheel-horse, like new, fri from a person , but thinking, do i want to rebuilt my cub, koler 13hp, hydro trans, 50inch cutter,or is it time to call it quits and sell,, don't know where or who can build, of find one already done.. still a good mower and strong built, 1970 model

What do you need rebuilt? The Cub 125 has a Kohler K301 12HP engine. They are very easy to rebuild and the parts kit is about $100 (new rod, piston, valves, rings and gasket kit (mix of stens and Kohler parts)). The next thing that usually needs rebuilt is the PTO clutch on the front of the engine - but those and the engine rebuild kit can be purchased off Ebay.

That Cub Cadet will out last that 2002 toro wheel-horse.
I have a Cub Cadet 125 and 124. They are great tractors and parts are still available.

thanks guys, probably will keep it and restore it sown the road, might need it to cut when the toro quits,,,lol
