I have a kawasaki 531v 2 cyl that needs a fuel pump. Problem is the fuel pump on it has only 2 hose fittings and all I find have 3. Looked up part number from engine diagram and it shows to have 3. Motor is running but pump is leaking so I know it is hooked up correctly. One line comes from tank and other goes to carb but how does it pull vacuum to pump fuel? Any ideas where to get one? Or am I just seeing things and it needs 3 lines! If it needs three, where would the third hook up to?

Disregard my post! I knew I should have worn my glasses! Fuel pump DOES have three fittings. The one for the vacuum was behind the pump and ran with a small 90°hose into engine block hidden by top cover. For the life of me, I knew that it had to be getting engine vacuum from somewhere. This is my first time messing with kawasaki engine. I had a brand new b&s fuel pump and it was exactly the same, so now I guess my kawasaki is officially a hybrid!!!! Lol! Never to old to learn!
