I know this is way off topic, I was wondering if anyone uses Lady Bugs in their garden to control Colorado Beetles/potato bugs? from what I found they eat the PB larvae as well as aphids, I already have a bunch of things attacking mine and am thinking the Lady Bugs are well worth the cost to buy them,,, any thoughts? thanks in advance

I think if you already have potato beetles its to late for lady bugs. you can pick them by hand or spray with potato BT. Lady bugs work to for aphids. Randy

according to the site I bought them from they eat the larva of the bugs and yes aphids as well,( I was hoping to get input before I ordered lol) I have been picking the adults, they were bad last year but are far worse this year, we will see if these work, if not I threw away 50 bucks, I have three timed shipments coming, if nothing else I can always use more ladybugs, the few I seen there so far seem Very busy eating something, and a fair amount of my potato plants have the leaves curled, I am thinking I have a pile of aphids as well thanks for the comment
