Case 155 garden tractor

The Honda HT 3813 fell through since it would not start when I went to look at it. I opted to look at a Case 155 with 38 inch mower deck. The gentleman I purchased it from owned it for 40 years and had the Kohler engine professionally rebuilt 4 years ago. Outside of being a little dirty, it was in very good condition. Seat and muffler have been replaced but the remaining tractor appears original.Good power and the high and low transmission works as it should. Its amazing how solid this tractor feels compared to the tractors on the market today. Just thought I would share my good fortune with this find.

The 155's were built in 1967 and 1968 and while they WERE pretty good garden tractors back then, the CASE 200 Series that replaced the older 100 Series is by far a better unit for a Worker Tractor. But your 155 has a nostalgia element to it that the later models do not have and if it pleases your eye, then no one should argue. Most of the parts are still available for the 155's and if all you want is a grass cutter, then it will certainly do that work with ease.

Enjoy your new purchase.

I will try to get a picture as soon as my daughter can show me how to place it on this site. Thanks
