John Deere L100 Running Hot Update

Thanks again to all who replied! It is always nice to get the different suggestions because I go back through the archives to help me trouble shoot. What I found was the Engine fins did have a little dirt; however not real bad, so I power washed the whole tractor, the air filter was pretty dirty, but I am not sure how much, if any at all that contributed. I believe my smoking gun was the mower deck, It was so caked up with grass old hard grass from years of mowing that is was causing the engine to work extremely hard, and the drive belt was really loose and inverted in the mower pulley. I cleaned that up, added new blades and according the Lady who I was helping that it is back to running normal (with no shut downs) again. Thanks again, Jack
