JD275 hydrostatic?

My old JD 275 hydrostat was leaving a few drops of oil on the floor. I thought it was
the O ring on the drain plug. So I changed fluids, replaced filter and O ring. Still
leaked, so I checked the bolts holding the lower part of they hydrostat together. A
few were loose, so I tightened, MISTAKE. Now instead of a a small leak, it leaves a
larger oil spot where parked.

My question is does any have a pic of what the hydrostat looks like? Do I have to
remove it from tractor to replace gasket, or can I just jack it up, drop the lower
half and replace gasket?
Thanks,
George

Bob, I'm not smart enough to open up where you sent me. I get there, but can open anything on a GT275. BTW, I don't have a JD275.

Type GT275 (NO space(s) into the "model search" box, hit "Search" and the correct catalog will be ready to use! I just tried it, to be sure the link I posted worked.

Bob,
thanks for your help. There has to be something wrong with my computer. I did exactly what you said. Here is what I get.
2342 - GT242, GT262 and GT275 Lawn and Garden Tractors - 13Dec14 ( FR DE IT ES SV )

Then I can't open anything. Something has to be wrong with my computer if yours works and mine doesn't.

I'll go to town where they sell parts and look at their parts catalog to see if it has a gasket. Perhaps to go my hydraulic shop and see if he has rebuilt any JD275 hydrostats. It appears it a pump/drive motor rear end all in one.

Silicone is used between the halves.

LOTS of stuff in there!
