No spark on my White LT-125. It's been a little harder starting every year lately. Yesterday started up and moved it out of the shed. Later in the day I would not start. I'm getting 4700 ohms from the spark plug lead to the laminated core and 1 ohm from core to the switch wire tab. Is the coil good?

I am assuming it does not have points.

If its still on the engine, and properly gapped-(.012) disconnect the kill wire and crank the engine over.

If there is now a spark, the coil(module) is good. But you have an electrical problem on the chassis that is shorting the spark.

If there is no spark, you need a new coil.

Also, check your kill wire for voltage. I have seen some ignition switches that begin back feeding 12v to the kill wire, which will kill the spark trigger circuitry.
