cub cadet 102 rear axles

I am in the process of restoring a 102 cadet that belonged to my dad. I noticed that the rear axles has some lose motion where the axles come out of the housing, also some oil leaking out also, what the process to remove the axle I would thing that there is a bearing and seal in the end of the housing , any help appreciated.

Drain the transmission oil. Pull the rear cover. There are "C" clips holding the axles in. Pop that off and the axle slides right out. There is a bushing and seal in the end of the axle housing.
