AC 912 garden tractor

I'm looking at an on-line auction that has an AC 912 w/ hydrostatic drive, a Kohler 12 hp. motor, sleeve hitch and 42" deck. They say it runs. Pictures look OK but it's dirty underneath, appears they never blew the grass off of it. In one of the pics for it the dash says electric lift... I saw where this was an option on these models, what does that look like on these (a switch, a handle)? A tiller is available for it too as a separate item. There's also a 46" deck available, but in the description it says the owner says it's a bit much for that engine. I don't really need another mower but the tiller would be nice to have.

Any opinions of this model? Is this a true garden tractor or a glorified lawn mower? What might be a value on it (so far, it's up to $160)?

Appreciate any thoughts on it.

I have a an old 1978 916H just keep tiller on yr. round. Have like new 48" deck that havn't used for yrs., traded the newer 918H on the new Kobuta. In their time they were one of the best mower/garden tractors make.

Lawn tractors. I have owned a 712,716,718,1920 and a 2025. I hated the 1920 but loved the rest. The electric lift was an option and uses a switch. I had 48inch decks on all of mine till the 2025,it had a 60in(it cut my mowing time from 200 hr a year to 100 hours.) IO would think it would be in the 700.00 to 1000.00 range with the tiller. (I did jump ship and run all JD diesels now.)

Follow up after the auction is over....

Didn't go too much higher on the 912. The wife reminded in no uncertain terms that we didn't need it (since when ever has it been about need?) and the car needs tires, along with other real needs. It sold for $341, the tiller went for $36, the 46" extra deck went for a dollar. All to the same buyer, was glad to see that. Seems like a real bargain. Saw it when I went to pick up my small items and it was very nice. They fired it right up to load it and it sounded pretty good. BTW, no electric lift on it, did see where the switch goes in the dash.

Thanks for all the input.
