What red do ya'll use on Wheel Hose C 85. Also, do you use a matte black or some other finish on hood???? Thanks Henry

According to the members, there is no official "Wheel Horse Red" paint and owners are free to choose whatever red makes them happy. If I recall correctly, IH Red has been used by several owners.

I would ask them about the black paint as well.

That looks good, Hal.

Dupont 96766 is actually International Harvester "Harvester Red". It is available from Martin-Senor as 4115, Sherwin-Williams as 1186 and Ditzier as 71310. IH used this colour from 1964 to 1984. New decals can be had from the link below.

I used PPG's Omni paint code 71310 on my Troy Bilt tiller in 2006. The tiller was in sad shape when I bought it for $100.00. I sold the Tecumseh 6hp engine for $65.00 and bought a 10hp Briggs with electric start. It also needed tines and seals under the tine holders. Hal
