I broke the pto belt tension spring on my lgt 165 and would like to know where I can buy a new one please help me if you can

Although its an odd shape/style spring to allow adjustment to avoid the pulley rubbing on the frame you could use a standard pull spring and use a small eye bolt in the top bracket to allow adjustments. Once its installed theres no movement involved.
