CC 2130 electric PTO clutch problem

I have a Cub Cadet 2130, shaft drive. Lately, whenever I push the PTO switch down to shut off the blade drive, the PTO stays engaged. If I shut the engine off and start it back up, the PTO stays off until I lift the switch and it engages the blades. Push the switch back down and it does it again, PTO stays on until I turn it off . I swapped the switch with the one on my 2155 and it seems to work fine on it so at least I know the switch is okay. Anything else I need look for? Local CC dealer said I need a new PTO clutch but I am not sure. It does not make strange noises like bad bearings or anything. It does not look like you can take it apart, at least, easily. Thanks

Either you have a mechanical problem with the clutch like the dealer says or else you have an electrical problem that keeps the clutch engaged after you turn it on. Hope you know how to use a multimeter.

You need to come up with a service manaual. see if the pto switch powers the clutch through a relay. It may also have a short in the wiring that is keeping it powered.
