I have a 755 John Deere that evidently has rust on the steel parts in the aluminum differential case. The strainer loads up with rust in just a few
minutes. The actual filter keeps it out of the hydrostat and operating circuits. the tractor shows signs of the rear half being under water. The
front wasn't and it runs great. I bought the JD shop manual and won't live long enough to disassemble and clean it right. my local dealer quoted me
$5k;they should have just stated they didn't want to do it.Anybody know of a shortcut? The little tractor would be handy, BUT..........
