Will it's been awhile since I updated so here goes ...
Been working 10 hour days at my day job , so been little getting done . This Sat. I got the seat and brackets primed and some hyd. things .. hope maybe after work this week I give them a paint job ..

Question : I need to replace a hose or two , was wondering if anyone would know the Hyd. pressure in the system ?? I look in the manuals I got . Either I over look , or can't find anything that tells me the pressure ..

I work for a place that makes Hyd. hoses , that was the 1st thing they ask { pressure } when I ask if I could get a hose made ...

THANKS for any advice ....... mark

I use single braided hose with flared swivel nuts and JIC fittings. Hal

There are only three high pressure hoses found in your tractor when it was new.

Hose #1 joins the outlet side of the pump to the Travel/Lift valve Inlet. That hose sees no more than 2200 PSI. Make sure that the replacement hose is the exact same length as the old hose. Any single braid 1/2 inch ID hose rated for 3000 PSI working pressure will do the job. Do not use hose with 2 or 3 braid layers or you will be sorry.

When it comes to your tractor, the rear PTO valve is plumbed in between the pump and the Travel/Lift valve Inlet and I see that your kit has the hard lines running to that rear valve.
Hoses #2 and #3 are the 1/4" ID hoses that go from the work ports of the LIFT valve to the mid-lift hydraulic cylinder. Those hoses see a maximum pressure of 600 PSI if the relief is set properly. Because these hoses have special metal ends on them, you might be well-advised to purchase them from a dealer such as the one below.

All other hoses are low pressure or suction hoses rated for hydraulic use. For best results DO NOT USE gear type clamps on these hoses.

I see that you have a Holding Valve kit for this tractor. You may need to bleed the air out of it once you get the tractor up and running. Hopefully, you have all the hard lines for this kit instead of hoses.

THANKS Tom ... I need to replace the hose on the back valve to run the rotortiller ... I will have to make hoses for my 3pt. .. got the 3pt just don't have any hoses ..
I was thinking the system wouldn't be over 2500 ...
YES I have a holding valve ... it has the tube's , not worry about oil ... there's isn't any oil in anything { motor , rearend and hyd's } figure I would wait till it's ALL together , that way I wouldn't be making a big mess ...lol

THANKS for the come back .... mark

The hoses running between attachments and the rear PTO valve should also be 1/2 inch ID, single braid with a working pressure of 3000 PSI.

Usually, the PTO relief is set at 2200 PSI and that is the highest pressure realized in the standard Hydriv system.

I suggest that you use 20W50 motor oil to fill the trans-axle and hydraulic reservoir. The engine requires straight grade 30 weight detergent motor oil, to be changed every 25 hours of run-time max. Change the other two, every 2nd year.

The hoses for the rear hitch are also 1/4" ID and do not see more than 600 PSI because the hitch is powered by the same valve as mid-lift cylinder is.

Tom ,
THANKS for the site .... I'm sure I will be using it ...
Looks like they cover about everything I will be needing ...

THANKS again ..... mark
