carburetor for 102 cub cadet

I need a carb for a k241 cast iron 10 hp kohler.my carb has a ball on the carb linkage on the carb where the gov hooks up. The only new carb I see for sale that has this hook up is for the 12, 14 ,16 hp engines the carb looks the same, will this carb work on the 10hp cast iron engine

It should work if it has an adjustable main jet screw. Some have a fixed jet for a particular engine. They might not work.

You can probably get the exact carburetor on Ebay, used of course.

Most of the genuine Kohler replacements are Walbro and most of them have fixed jets. At least that is what I have seen.

I know you are wanting it to be equipped to hook to your governor arm, but don't forget to check the choke linkage as well, the older ones used a different arm or linkage than the newer styles.

Some of the originals were made by CARTER. That is what is on my 108 cadet.
