Howdy! I was curious what kind of price to ask for my 1977 212 garden tractor. Brand new deck two years ago. Brand new battery today. Also extra set of new belts and blades. Comes with original manual as well. No smoke everything works as it should. Its running in the pictures. Thanks in advance.

I'll toss out $700 as a reasonable figure for what you show and describe. I'd probably start at $800 and see if someone bites.

If it by chance has the optional sleeve hitch you would probably do better by removing the whole assembly and selling it separately on eBay or other on-line site. These hitches are worth several hundred dollars by themselves but usually would not add this much to the tractor's value if sold as a complete unit.

Starting at $600.00 or so would be a fair price.
These were some of the best mowers built, but they have become dated.
Ten years ago they were bringing anywhere from $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 if they were in good shape.

very nice! id defitly give $600 for that, i also have a '77 212, deck on it however is a worn out 1970 deck from a 110, its a little undersized for the tractor...can mow pretty fast though!
