Eaton 771 hydro

I have on of these hydros and was wondering if any body can help. The hydro is just in free wheel nothing holding it back and it does not move in either direction under power. yes the neutral lever is up so it should be in gear. is there something i can do? is there valves in there that may be stuck, any help would be appreciated. the pulley is turning the pump, the belt is not loose, and its full of oil

Trace the leaver to the valves, the center should be up. If they are stuck down, just unscrew the hex nut and the valve will come out. Some have a spring and / or ball under them, just watch for loose parts and reinstall after freeing up the valve.

where are the valves, i dont see a thing. is there one under that 1 inch hex headed plug
