A replacement Kohler in my JD212 was used very little before the whole tractor wore out. What hp would a K301AQS #47640 with 476 displacement have?
SN 3211660189. It is the flange-mount type.

Leo, there is a nice looking 312 on craigslist in Independence. It needs an engine. Tractordata says they both used the same displacement Kohler engine. Probably be a simple project and then your wife could help mow and only take twice as long!

By the way.. the first part of the number is cu. in. and the second number is how many cylinders.

Roy, she has spent a lot of time on the 212 and now feels she is retired! So it is up to poor old me to keep the weeds down. BTW, my first new LT, a JDx534 with 54" deck and 25hp out mows the 212 with a 47"deck and pulling a 60" tow mower, if one can hang on! That tired old 214 pulled two 60" tow mowers last year, but pretty clumsy getting in between stuff. Leo
