Is there a electronic ignition kit for an Kohler
532 engine?

As you know, it is a "Kettering-type" battery/breaker point ignition system.

I don't know of an exact fit, "off the shelf" EI for those engines.

Below is a couple of links showing some option, one of which retains your points and uses a low current through them to trigger an EI, other options are a complete D-I-Y EI.

You could even use a Mallory or other brand of high performance ignition box triggered by the points, the points SHOULD last a long time, because of so little current, but, of course, can still corrode.

WOW WOW WOW What a ton of information!!! Thanks for posting this page. I started reading and my head started to buzz. Wanted to go out into the 30 degree weather and play with a lawn mower or something. Will need to read this in my save file in the spring again. Thanks again. jeffcat
