Rockshaft for pto clutch IH Cub Cadet 129

Have a question about the pto clutch rock shaft.
Is the surface on the side the button presses into flat? The one on mine appears to be worn in to the shape of the steel button on the clutch fingers. The hole is oversize & the fiber button glued in with JB weld.

The surface should be flat. What has happened is the button wore out and the owner was too cheap to replace it and probably put a bolt in the hole and heaven knows that won't last very long.

Thank you Harvey2. Thought it had to be flat. Have not worked on one for years. Thing I do remember the button is hard to press in without breaking it.

I had buttons made of bronze for mine. Had them put a threaded end on so it fastened to the arm with a nut.
