I am working on a David Bradley walk behind lawn tractor and I am looking for information about this tractor. I was wondering if anyone knows when this tractor was built the serial number is 3_2824 and where I could get paint for this tractor at. Thank you.

Google "David Bradley Tractors and Implements" or just "David Bradley". One of these should get you to the David Bradley site. There is a lot of information there describing model numbers, etc. The actual model number is more important than the serial number. It should start with 917._______.

the model number on my David Bradley is 917.57534

I figured it out the model numbers is 917.57584 it is apparently the Deluxe Super 3 and the paint is a Bronze/Cream color. Does anyone know where the best place to get matching paint for this tractor would be?

Austin, if there is any spot on the tractor where the paint is still in good shape, you can take it to almost any paint store or auto parts house that sells paint and they should have a little machine that can analyze the paint and tell them what to mix. (Ain't modern technology great?) If it is too faded to analyze properly, then about the only alternative would be to mix it by the "SWAG" method.
One point to remember, good automotive paint ain't cheap, and they will likely have a minimum purchase, which may be considerably more than you will need for the job at hand.

Thanks shadetreeret for the information I am really excited to start this project. I am going to school for auto body technology and im using this tractor to enhance my auto body skills like painting and stuff like that and I will keep you guys posted on my project thank you and I will post pictures of my project when it is complete.

Is it possible that your number is 57584 instead of 57534? I can't find the 57534 number in any of my David Bradley literature but the 57584 is a "Deluxe Super 3" which, by the way, is one of the more collectible models. Does yours have a speed changer and reverse system?

Yep the model number is 917.57584. Wow I had no idea I had a deluxe super 3. When I got this David Bradley I also got another tractor with this tractor and its model number is 917.5752. How many David Bradley Deluxe Super 3 were made? And it does have a speed changer and reverse system.
