Can someone explain the procedure for posting an image from a Web Site (say PhotoBucket). I have tried all the BBC codes available here, and nothing seems to work for me.

Getting help from the Moderators or Administration of this site is not bearing any fruit either.

Hi this is how I do it when on your photobucket page click on the pic you want to post it will enlarge then look to the right a bit above it will say IMG (just below share links?) there is a box in the box it say [URL=http etc left click on the box, the photo will copied and then go to the message box and right click on the mouse a box will come one of the options is paste click on paste and the photo should post.
Hope this helps

When you hit reply, you will see Advanced Posting Tools, click on upload photos, then Photo Gallery Upload will appear, click on browse,That will take you to your photos on you computer, select your picture, click on your picture and then click on open, click on the upload and it should load in a thumbnail on the right, click on continue to lock that picture in place or select another picture.

Well, I go to the Photobucket site. I look for the image I want to post and click on it. It expands to a larger size. Above the image, there is numerous selection buttons. I click on "get link codes". Another image window pops up. On the right, there are four "Photo Links" selections. Of the four, I choose the "IMG" link. I copy and paste it into the body of the postings here on YT. What I see is the actual link but NO image.

What am I doing wrong...???

OK when you click on the photo and it enlarges DO not click on the little buttoms look to the right it will say share links now below that it will say IMG very light but is should be there just to the right og the IMG is a box left click on it that will copy the image (if your looking a small box will say block don't worry about that) then go to the message box and paste the image.

I done as you described, and this is what I get.

As you can see, you can click on the link and it will take you to PhotoBucket so you can view the image. Still can't figure out why the image won't post here.

Hi R Bedell, well I just looked at my Photobucket site and they have changed it, that's one of the main reasons I use it less and less anyway I see on your link and on my page the there are now 4 box's to choose from I check and see how it works one thing I didn't mention before / forgot about, this site is odd in that once you paste your photo to the message box you can not add anything after that no typing etc, at least that's the way it works for me. trying another pic

Ok you still use the box the has IMG in front of it the bottom one of the 4 box's.

I did another post because as I said you can not add anything after pasting a photo URL the same goes for posting a URL link.

Hi R Bedell, well I tried your picture link and got the same results you have gotten I don't know whats happening sorry I couldn't be of more help and I don't know about YT support.
