If you're interested, you could contact the Seller through eBay, exchange phone numbers and discuss the possibility of you making the purchase and how shipping would be arranged.

If you get a good feeling from the conversation, bid what you are willing to spend.

I've heard that some are using Fastenal to transport items (such as a small riding mower) around the Country. It would require you and the Seller to have Fastenal locations close by for his drop off and your pick up.
