Just had to replace a leaking brass float in my 1951, 8 HP Model 23 FBC.
The replacement is plastic.
The problem is that the new float is no where near being level to the carb body as it should be and there is no way to adjust it that I can see.
Has anyone run into this problem.
The only solution I see is to replace the float valve with a shorter length
