A Canadian vendor offers this mysterious tractor. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-image.html?adId=1020643813&image=0&enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
It's a 3 cylinder Diesel 4x4 with 24hp. I say "mysterious" because an Internet search finds next to nothing about it, safe a few glowing reviews on TractorByNet for a 70hp model, thus making one wonder. The vendor says even though it's called "Ferrari", it's really a Mitsubishi. The Ferrari company does not list this model under their old tractors, making one also wonder why they would allow the casual use of their name.

Does anyone have knowledge, even hearsay, about this mysterious "Ferrari"?

"Probably made in India, china or maybe Korea"

OK.... would that be a bad thing?

If it was made in India, then it likely would be a Mahindra.

Try reading about Mahindra, a world-wide company that sells a lot of tractors.

If it came from Korea, then it might have been made by Kioti or LS Tractor or TYM..... all of which are sold on the North American continent.

If it came from China, then it might have been made by Dongfeng or Devonn or Jinma.

Most likely, the Seller is correct and it was made by Mitsubishi or Satoh who is owned by Mitsubishi in Japan. SATOH has been around since 1914 and who hasn't heard of Mitsubishi?

Some of the biggest names in US agriculture have partnered with one or more of these companies including Yanmar to build tractors with John Deere, International Harvester or Case nameplates and paint on them. Many of the SCUT and CUT tractors sold in the USA today are made by offshore companies listed above.

How the Ferrari name got on that tractor is certainly open to speculation but just because the tractor was made offshore does not make it a bad thing to own.

Roy... the real Ferrari tractor has a 70 HP Perkins. The SCUT under discussion is 24 HP and likely a Mitsubishi diesel.
