I found this push mower at a swap meet and I just had to have
it! Are there any ideas to brand and age of this thing? It has a
2 cycle Power Products engine and a 18" cutting path.
Someone told me it was made by Wizard but I sure can't find
any info on it. Any help would be great, thanks!

I have one very similar to that & it is a Craftsman. Does it have a pedal below & behind the gas tank that you step on to slide the motor forward on the deck to tighten the belt that runs the blade. I used to run Sears stores in my first life & had a customer come in one day & told me he would give it to me if I displayed it. He told me his was a 1936 that he bought new. Mine runs & I would sell it.

I will also add that someone has either changed the push handle or yours is a newer model than mine as mine has a wooden cross piece at the top of the handle.

It could be a Craftsman but Chraftsman does not build anything it's built by somebody else. It does look a lot like one that Jacobsen built.

The Wizard brand was sold by Western Auto stores, and was built under contract as was Craftsman. The two may have used the same supplier, who knows? The good thing is, it looks to be in great shape.
