Is there anywhere I can find a shop manual with part and item
numbers? I can't seem to find much on these mowers on the
internet. I really just need a diagram of the steering
components. I have a mower that is stripped of all the steering
linkage parts and I'm wanting to bring it back to life!

Go to eBay, do a search for ford garden tractors, also do a search for ford lawn tractors. You will get lots of parts and manuals.

Gilson built it.Lawn Boy had an identical only painted green.There are a few parts still available.They were sort of a Bic lighter type tractor.Good Luck.

As has been said the yt16 ford,lawnboy tractors were the same in addition to the new holland yt16.

For a quick look at tractor & to figure out what parts are missing/needed click on link below & lookup the yt16 in lawnboy lawn/garden tractors listings & look at assembly drawing/parts list for steering,parts for same are probably a little hard to come by & expensive,best source of parts is probably ebay or a mower graveyard.
