I'm in need of one, if not two, idler pulley bushings for the mower deck.
Need help with a supplier--I've come up empty--no one has the part.

Thanks

Email the $7 seller and ask if they have more than one to sell.

I am sure you could go to a bearing shop with dimensions and find a replacement bushing if you needed to.

Or, search granger for bushing diminsions.

Last stop is to find any correct diameter idler pulley that will fit on the bolt correctly.

If you want your deck to work properly and the belt to fit, then
go with OEM parts from the link below.

Send Bob an e-mail at

[email protected]

Give him the model and serial number of your tractor and also
tell him whether you have a 44 inch, 48 inch or 60 inch CUTTING
WIDTH mower deck.

You can pay by credit card and Bob will ship you the parts the
following day.

The one for seven bucks is a bargain because the current MSRP is $22.85, which is exactly what Bob charges for this part on his website. Just be sure of the shipping costs PRIOR to buying that item. Some Sellers offer parts at a low cost but then overcharge on the shipping.

The one for 32 bucks is A-typical pricing from Stoller, who routinely gouge Case/Ingersoll owners on every part they sell. I would like to say more about these people but I won't.

There are certain Ingersoll dealers that I know to be trustworthy. Bob Meyers is one of them. Stoller Brothers is not and I warn people to stay far away from them.

Both were very helpful. BTW--CPD is the ONLY one I've found who has the actual deck pulleys themselves, which contain a bearing.

Thanks again

Eastman Industries is the current owner of Ingersoll Tractor.
However, they sold the parts division of Ingersoll Tractor to CPD
(Central Power Distributors) and all of the Ingersoll dealers buy
from them. That is why you were referred to CPD by Eastman.
Eastman is no longer a parts supplier.

Part of the problem here Cheryl is that you are unfamiliar with
the CORRECT names for the parts you are seeking. For example,
deck pulleys do not contain a bearing but IDLER PULLEYS do.
Idler pulleys make up part of the MULE DRIVE system for the
mower deck. The drive belt passes around those idler pulleys to
make a 90 degree turn to reach the driven pulley on the deck.

The bushings that you mentioned are needed for the idler
pulleys and you noted that in your original post. In that
instance, you got it right but in your latest post, you call them
deck pulleys.

Idler pulleys are a common replacement item and I can name
three Ingersoll dealers who would have them sitting on the shelf
all the time. In other words, these parts are not all that hard to
find......providing you know where to look.
