Cub Cadet Z-Force Zero Turn help

Mower is about 9 years old. Was mowing and working good. Disengaged electric clutch to talk with SWMBO. Went to start mowing, and when I went to engage clutch. mower died and would do anything. got it back up by the shop, and found that the wires to the clutch somehow got twisted around part of the clutch and the wires rubbed by the belt. How are these wires supposed to be routed. Also, the belt that runs the deck rubs against itself. The tensioner pushes the belt tight, and there is enough play that it pushes it against the belt going in the opposite direction. Have not found a way to adjust this.

There is some bracket that keeps the clutch winding from spinning on the crankshaft isn't there? Or at least there should be.

Its not uncommon for the wires to just break near the clutch. Due to vibration causing the wire itself to work harden and break off.
Lots of higher priced mowers actually have a plug on the side of the clutch so the wires can be replaced when they break.

I am not familiar with Cub Cadet zero turns, but in most cases if the deck belt is pushed over close enough it rubs itself, Either it is the wrong belt (too long), or its a worn belt and its time to replace it.
