cub cadet #72

I have a cub cadet model 72 tractor. I am trying to locate the neutral starting switch. I think it is like a safety sw and it is keeping the starter from engaging. I thought it would be on the clutch but am unable to locate it. If I run 12 volts to the small wire on the solonid the motor will turn over but not by using the key switch.

if it has one it will be located under the tractor between the clutch pedal linkage and the clutch throw out arm. There is a tab on the clutch linkage that operates it

Thank you I removed the mower deck and found it ok The metal tab had shifted so it was not making contact with the switch. It works ok now
