HAHN -rear engine riding mower

My neighbor has a rear engine rider I'm looking at buying.It is a HAHN,it is Yellow and has a 8hp Briggs on it, 3 speed with reverse and has hook-up for a battery for elecrtic start-THAT IS ABOUT ALL I KNOW ABOUT IT!!! I have never heard of HAHN and cannot find hardly anything on the internet.I'm seeing a HAHN-ECLIPSE but this rider doesn't say eclipse on it. The ID tag says -HAHN Inc. manufacturred in Indiana somewere. SERIES 3943,Model LHSE-130???,S/N 1084504. If anyone can give me some information about this rider I would greatly apprciate it.

All I can find is Hahn inc. was purchased by TORO in 1995. Evansville Ind. plant was closed by Toro.

It would appear that Hahn inc. became Hahn-Eclipse

I don't know anything about the particular model you are looking at, but when I was a kid one of our neighbors had a Hahn rear engine riding mower, and it was old even back then(mid 1980's). If its like other Hahn products, its probably a good machine. Hahn, based in Evansville, Indiana was best known for its "Hi-Boy" 3 wheeled sprayers. Every farmer in Kentucky who had a big tobacco base owned one. I have seen other products bearing the Hahn name over the years, such as tillers and push mowers.

lance hahn mower where biult in evansville in I have 2 riders 3 tillers and 2 push mowers they also made front engene tractors to fine the year use nnalert they started with r and so on i'm thinking they started in about 1964 i'll check with my buddey as he work for them i live in evansville in i have a lot of parts if you need them are will sell all for $175 thanks Dave

Joshua hahn sold out to gravly and they biult them for 5 years then stop builting them i have one of built by gravy thanks Dave

Hi David I Have a LTD 500 Hahn I need a gas tank for mine. I also live in Evansville. I just bought it. It's a little rough but it runs. If you want you can come over and take all look at it.
