Ford LGT 165 Hydro transmission and key switch

Hi,
I have a lgt165 that had a broken transmission lever. I welded the foot control linkage to the transmission, but I realized that there must be springs that are holding the foot control linkage in place. Can anyone tell me where this spring goes and roughly the size spring or part number. Right now the tractor will move in either direction but I have to pull the pedal up with my foot to slow down and stop. I am also wondering if someone out there replaced the ignition switch and what did they use. I have one that needs replacement. Thanks!

You can look up parts, and view parts breakdowns at the CNH site.

NOT sure if there"s enough detail to see where the spring connects, but it"s free to look.

I have several older Fords so I also have some Ford manuals on dropbox you can copy if you like, I dont recall there being an external spring on the lever.

The hole for the ign switch is smaller than any aftermarket switch Ive found but if you have the means to grind out the hole and solder on new connectors then you can use most any standard replacement ign switch

Thank you Lance and Bob. I found the springs that are missing on page 10 of the parts manual that Lance dropboxed. Thanks for the info on the key switch, i will plan on enlarging the hole and order one. Thanks Again!
