John Deere 318 disconnecting TDM

I have a few John Deere 318s that are going to spend the rest of their lives pushing cow feed up to freestalls in barns. Would like to take out the Time Delay Module. Pretty straight forward, but I am having a little trouble on how to keep the battery light functional. Anybody have any ideas?
Have the neutral switch connected for safety. Also, would like to use the original wiring harness as nuch as possible.

No condone (or criticize) what you are doing, and to just answer your question... you need battery voltage to the key switch (though a breaker) and battery voltage when the key is "ON" to either the points-type ignition system, or the battery powered EI used on the later versions and a wire from the "S" terminal on the switch to either the frame -mounted starter solenoid used on earlier versions, or the solenoid mounted on the starter used on later versions.

Bob,
Thanks again for the quick reply. I have the electronic ignition and will use option 2.
