I'm helping an older lady sell some stuff around her place. She has a blade, snow blower with a brand new winch, and a cab for a 214 she wants to part with. They're all in decent shape. Some paint is peeling, a little surface rust, the doors for the cab are real nice. What's stuff like this bring?

What about the tractor?
Where are you?
I would be interested in a decent 214.

Pricing would depend a lot on the location. You can check prices on Amazon or eee-bay or weekend freedommachines.com. You want to look at the pictures to make sure you've got the model number correct. It matters a lot.

The model 43 blade can go from $150 to well over $200 depending on condition. The 37A thrower can go from $200 to well over $300 for a really nice one. A winch was not part of the 37A thrower unless you are referring to the chute angle rotator. Cab prices vary a lot depending on location, model, model and condition.

Im in michigan between Lansing and grand rapids. She's keeping the tractor/mower. Said she wouldn't use the rest of this stuff since her husband is gone.

Steve, I am getting rid of the remains of three JD 200 series tractors which includes a very low hour Kohler engine, two snowblowers, two 47 inch decks, one in very poor condition...etc. I am in NE Iowa.

I'd be interested in the engine, one snow thrower, and probably the remains of a tractor if most of it is still there. Shipping is a concern, though. I am in central Missouri and the wife might not like that much of a road trip.

Well I am mainly interested in getting rid of the whole works. All three tractors are in pieces and parts, and the low hours engine is flange mounted and was repowering an early 212, but the engine would not fit the later 212 or 214 I was trying to save. The three transmissions work, two jump out of the popular-use second gear, the third was rebuilt years back but leaks oil out the left side. I don't know yet whether I want to get rid of the wheel weights (outer and inner) or the chains. All three hoods in pretty good shape, one fender has a nasty crease, but useable. All three have electric lifts with all rams working. Only one control lever system working..others in parts and pieces. I WON'T PART OUT THESE TRACTORS, HAGGLING OVER PRICE OR PREPARING SHIPPING CONTAINERS. I will eventually provide serial numbers if necessary. These are highly used tractors that have been shedded most of their life and still are.

In that case - if the deal is good enough I can drive up there by myself. You could let me know your price for the whole works and send me some pictures. We would either have a deal or not, and part as friends either way. I am steveDOTshieryATgmailDOTcom
