When I was a young boy I used to help my great
grandfather do yard work and my treat for the day
was to sit on his lap and drive this old Cub Cadet
riding mower down the street to dump our grass
trimmings.
I was like 3 years old and this was roughly 1989.
He passed away in 97 and lately I"ve been thinking
that I want to find a mower just like that one to
have for the fond memories it brings me.
After some googling I found it"s a Cub Cadet 85
that he had. They were made around 1979. It"s
known as the "bath tub" model.
I want to restore it and eventually take my
future-kids on it
