4 wheeler question

(quoted from post at 08:28:47 08/07/14) thats what i thought to.cleaned carb in cooker and
new intake hose no change. ideas
-Have you tried setting the valves?
-Any recent changes to exhaust system?
-Any recent changes to the air intake system? Low restriction element or running it with no air filter.
-See if it runs cooler with the choke partially on.

already been there any other ideas.starting to think maybe running rich or not hot enough spark plug. going pull exhaust manifolds and see if i have actually fire shooting out of head

Are you observing this condition idling/light load or under heavy load?
An engine with fuel system issues can seem to run fine under light load.
The same engine under heay load will magnify any problems;
-Partially clogged main jet
-dirty fuel filter
-pinched fuel line
-Vacuum leak etc
Anytime the increased flow of fuel required for full load operation is required but not available it will mimic a lean condition, even with a carb in top condition.

it runs fine at full throttle. originally came in
would not idle. or low rpm. cleaned carb twice found
crack in intake carb hose, replaced it and this is
where its at now when running exhaust gets cherry
red right off the bat. but it will still run high
rpm fine ideas

If it was a car engie I would be looking at timming.
How is the compression?
Have you tried forcing it rich with the choke to see if it changes anything?
Timming chain?
