My JD 90 skidsteer died. It has spark that jumps a 3/16" gap. A gravity fuel bypass tank attached to the carb and 90 and 100 # compression. When I pour gas into the carb it will run until burned up. I had the carb apart, cleaned and set the float level to specs. I also replaced the coil, condenser and points. The points are adjusted to .020. I also adjusted the valve clearance to specs. Where do I go from here? Perhaps change to a Honda engine. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!!

Revisit the carb.

Can you take the bowl off with it still on the engine? If so, take it off and see if fuel comes through the needle valve. If so, recheck the float level, float bent?, assembled wrong?

If no fuel comes through, the needle is stuck in the seat (worn, damaged), there is a restriction upstream, may be a screen in the inlet fitting.

If fuel is getting in the bowl but still won't run, the main jet is clogged, adjusted wrong, fuel blockage before or after main jet.

Check your fuel line if it is rubber. Just did a Honda with the same problem. Found the line coming apart on the inside.
