cub cadet won't start

got a 1968 122 cub cadet sielinoid just click's got a new battery but won't start the tractor i've cleaned all wire connection's got power from sieliniod to everything just wont turn over

is the motor free? if so remove the starter and hook it to battery. will the starter turn?
if so, clean the battery connections, with emphasis on the ground cable.

See if engine turns by hand as mentioned above. Make sure starter gear isn't jammed against flywheel.

Then, try a voltage drop test. Especially, ground as already mentioned.
Voltage drop test

As has been said check that neg(-)battery cable connection is free of rust/dirt & tight where it connects to chassis/eng block, after that with ign in off/stop position take a jumper cable from battery pos(+)to A terminal on starter/generator,if eng now cranks then cable between sol & s/g loose/bad OR contacts in sol bad & sol needs replacement,if starter doesn't crank eng then problem in starter/generator possibly caused by worn brushes,shorted/open field coils, bad armature in which case same will have to be removed & rebuilt or replaced.

thank's for your imput just went out and hooked my batterycharger on it and the GEN did nothing no crank or any thing and the motor turn's free with my hand so i'm thinking i need GEN rebuilt. As for ground cable on the frame i shined the frame up new cable and bolt and washer.

Depending on amp output of charger same may not power starter/generator with belt connected to same,if charger in the 5-20A range it's probably not enough to crank eng with belt connected, this is why I said to jump from battery pos(+)at very least you should get a spark when touching A terminal,if no spark something open in starter/generator.
