John Deere 317 using a 318 deck

Will a 50 inch deck from a John deere 318 fit a john deere 317 lawn tractor? We are wanting to replace the one we have but I wanted to check to see if it will fit.

You will have to swap the rear lift arms over from the old deck, or modify the attaching points on the 317 where where those brackets pin on.

Besides that, it should work.

I have a 50" deck for a 318 on a 140.
