Mower no go

Cub cadet mower Briggs & Stratton engine replaced primer balb and spark plug, now it will start if I prime it 5 times. Runs for a few sec then dies unless I keep pumping primer balb. Once engine is warmed up it will run fine. I took apart and cleaned the carb best I could. Anyone have ideas. I think it needs a new carb. I don't understand why it's not getting gas until it warms up. I don't know the engine model it's not stamped on the cover. there is a steady stream of gas from the gas tank
 
The gasket and diaphragm between the top and bottom halves of the carburetor may need replaced. You should be able to find the engine model somewhere on the mower unless the label has been removed.
