I am looking for a riding reel mower
either a Savage or one similar. if anyone
has on for sale or knows were on is?

I was at the Tuckahoe Steam Show (Easton, MD) this weekend. There was one there for sale, and sold on Friday.

I'm pretty sure the Savage Arms riding reel-types were manufactured by E.C. Stearns of Syracuse, NY.

I have a pair of the Stearns models, and they are quite similar.

Thanks Mr.Phillips I talked to you there I am the guy with the panzer. I started to get that one but alot of stuff welded and added on it. Like to find one close to original.

I will take one or both of my riding reel-types to the Eastern Shore Threshermen (Federalsburg, MD), next month, if you'd like to see the comparison to the Savage Arms.

Did you have the (2) Panzers that were for sale?

No...but I doubt that I'll add another to the collection. So, I'll let you know if I find something.

Few mower manufacturers built riding reel-types. The Pennsylvania Mower company probably made more than anyone...I've seen quite a few. I've also seen a couple Toro Colt mowers. Gemco built a really neat looking one.

No I'm the one that set up at Georgetown and Federalsburg with the T102 I restored. Thanks I would Appreciate if you see one to let me know 302-448-0183

Sure....will do. The guy that purchased the Savage Arms will be at Federalsburg. If you change your mind about that one, you may be able to talk him into selling.

Sorry that I didn't realize it was you at first.

There was a pair of Panzers for sale, not far from where we had our Country Squire in the "gas engine area". One was restored, and the other looked to be original.
