Another qustion I have on my IH cub cadet 1650 is I had to replace the forward and reverse lever on this unit and again I cant get it adjusted to go reverse like it is supposed to. I hope I am just overlooking something But I am feeling pretty stupid on this challange. Thanks for your help ............... Kenny

Download the manual. The PDF files are very good and I had my 1330 all set up in no time. NOW that was after I found that the front transmission mount was broken and the axel was twisted in the hold down clamps! Look for some stupid stuf first before you tinker. If I remember the "clutch" needs to be adjusted first so the tractor will stop and brake when you press the pedal. Handle also goes to neutral. If you let up of the pedal the machine should stand still. After this you need the book to find which way to turn the adjustment screw. Not hard but you need to wrap your brain around it. jeffcat

Let us know after you "tinker" for a little bit. Once you get the adjustment you will think "That was SOOOOO easy"! There is never a stupid question! Jeffcat
