the deck on my 425 lawn tractor has a rubber guard along the front it keeps grass from flying your in your face I have replaced it several times but the 1/4 thick rubber doesn't hold up for a full season. Any suggestions I thinking how a piece of belting like they used to run old thrashing machines or grinders would work and can you get that stuff in small lengths any more if at all
