New Sears push mower w/ Briggs and Stratton new OHV engine

For some strange reason, every time I try to get into the Sears.com website it flashes "rejected" on my screen. I fixed a almost new mower for a friend and would like to find the oil capacity so I could change the oil. Most of these small mowers take 20 oz but since its a new OHV I don't know if the capacity changed. Anyone know how much oil this mower takes? The Sears # is 07137430 and the whole things on sale in the Sears flyer for 199.99

Yes, there is a dipstick, I may BE a dipstick for asking such a question, but its nice to know the total amount going in without dribbling it in a little at a time.

OK... so how about this?

Find the engine model number and spec.

Go to the Briggs site, enter those numbers and see if the manual tells you the capacity.

Tomorrow, when I do the oil change, I will do exactly as you suggested, and after measuring the amount, I will post it on here as no one seems to know.

How could any of us know? Apparently the ID number you posted is not valid.

You did not post the engine model or spec numbers. There are thousand of different engines out there. I am not trying to be rude but are we expected to have a crystal ball?

The bottom line, I was being lazy. I drained the oil and after much monkeying around because the oil fill is recessed way back under the side of the motor where I had no funnel that would fit, I filled it with a turkey baster. It took around 18 oz. This is for a friend, and why do these kind of jobs seem to go sideways?
