The original subject was "Information on vintage Kut Kwick".

The first 2 numbers of the Briggs Code # indicates the year the engine was produced. That will give you a real close manufacturing date of the KutKwick.
You can reach them at 800-248-5945

The only info I have is from a book on antique garden tractors and the Kut-Kwick was made by the Kut-Kwick Tool Corp. in Brunswick, Ga. The ad shows the machine as a 2 wheeled walk behind and says it's a brush cutter. a saw and a mower all in one. This ad says they used Wisconsin engines and the ad was from 1951

I agree with MtMan.Been around them for 50+ years. The first we had was a 1952 with a Wisconsin.I still have a 1977 with a Kohler.I,ve never saw a Briggs on one from the factory though. They are still in business today.
