John Deere 111 Deck Bearings

I need to change the bearings in the blade spindle assembly of a 111 mower. This is NOT an L111 but an old machine. What is the correct method of removing the old bearings?

I know about a 110 and own a 112, but where does the 111 fit in the Deere model lineup? I did not know about this model until a few days ago.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Here"s a drawing of the spindle from a deck WITHOUT the adjustable front lip (which should be the more common model).

The top nut has to come off, followed by the sheave/pulley, then the woodruff pulley key.

The spindle can then be pressed out of the bearings. the top beaing is then free to come out of the housing, there's a snap ring that has to be removed so the bottom one can come out.

As to the model lineup, this is likely covered on the Weekend Freedom Machines website.
