Toro Professional 58

I picked up an old Toro Professional 58 3 reel mower last week. I spent last Saturday on it and have it running, but still need to get the carb dialed in. Anyhow, anyone know how to adjust the reel down closer to the bedknife on these? I have a ground driven gang reel which the bedknife moves toward or away from the reel, but this one has me stymied. There is too much gap between the reel and the bedknife and so I am not cutting very much grass at all.

I used strips of newspaper to set that clearance. When it cut the paper I quit adjusting. I had the reel mower sharpened every other year. Our neighbor had a horse drawn reel mower that cut a wide path. Golf courses are probably still using them pulled by a tractor with turf tires. Hal
