Help ! my Ariens S-16 creeps in neutral how do i fix this

Hi i was wonder how to replace the bushings in the drive control and the bushing that are on the direction plate .
these are badly worn and im told is causing my Ariens S-16 to creep and sometimes drive by itself .
i have to get this fixed as it really dangerous.

Hi Thanks for the info and i dowloaded the GT repair manual but i dont see anything on how to replace the bushings on the drive control shaft or the Direction plate (Cam)
im looked through section 6 and it shows adjustments only but maby im blind LOL
any help would be apreciated.

Hi sorry I'm late getting back to you, on page 16 of the parts manual (Main drive section) item 58 is the eccentric pin and attached to it is #57 a roller that moves in the cam #55 removing the cam is a big job and I think if the roller was replaced a lot of the wear / slop would be taken care of then the eccentric coulb adjusted to stop the creep. I'm not positive but I think you can loose the eccentric and remove it making it easier to install the new roller then reinstall the eccentric and adjust for creep.
This is what I will be doing with my GT14 I've stopped the creep but the excess wear is causing the hydro to not hold steady speed so I'm hoping to replace the roller get the dwell setting set and then adjust as needed.
