John Deere F1145 shutdown

Whenever I pull out the PTO switch the engine dies. When the engine is off with ignition on and I pull the PTO switch the fuel solenoid clicks off. My wiring diagram shows no connection between the PTO switch and the fuel solenoid. All safety switches are correctly adjusted. Has anyone out there had this experience. Thank you a million in advance.

First thing comes to my mind is something to do with the seat switch.

Typically, if the PTO is engaged and the seat switch opens/closes it shuts down the engine.

I would recheck that circuit, it will be wired through the PTO switch and possibly a relay to ground the coils and deactivate the fuel solenoid.

504 has got it. Check your park brake latch lever. It had its own switch and if the machine thinks the park brake is on it will shut down just as you are describing.
